TRENTON: The city of Trenton issued this statement on its Facebook page Monday afternoon “It is with great regret that the City of Trenton will be cancelling our Chinese New Year celebration for 2020. The decision came after unforeseen circumstances forced many of our performers and vendors to withdraw from the event over concerns regarding the Coronavirus. Many were travelling from mainland China, where concerns for the public health have caused travel restrictions. We hope to put all allocated resources towards next year’s celebration.
In this regard, the public health is above all our top priority.” The event was scheduled for Saturday February 1st from noon to 4 Pm.
