HAMILTON: Hamilton Police are investigating a shooting during a home invasion after multiple reports of shots fired on the 900 block of William Street.

Police responded to the area of William Street and South Clinton Avenue just after 10 p.m. on February 1 after receiving multiple reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, the police located two males who stated a home invasion occurred in the 900 block of William Street. Officers were told there were five victims inside the residence when three males entered the home with ski masks. Two out of the three males were armed with handguns and demanded everything the victims had. Three of the victims fled the residence after jumping out of a window, resulting in the suspects chasing them. The victims reported that 3 to 5 gunshots were fired at them, however no one suffered any injuries. It is reported that two i-Phones and cash was taken from the residence.

One suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years old, 5’7”-5’10”, wearing a red jacket and black ski mask and armed with a handgun. The second suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years old, 5’7”-5’10”, wearing a black jacket and a black ski mask and armed with a handgun. The third suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years old, 5’7”-5’10”, wearing a black jacket and a black ski mask.
