Man dies while being taken into Police custody at city Hospital

A man died while being taken into Trenton police custody Friday afternoon, outside St. Francis Medical Center in the parking lot.

The man flat-lined while getting handcuffed after cops were called because the male took off his shirt and threw objects at passing vehicles.

The man took off running into a parking lot of St. Francis Medical Center, where he passed out while being taken into custody.

Medical personnel ran outside to the aid of Police officers to perform CPR with police but were unsuccessful. New Jersey State Police is investigating the mans death.
