Crossland was the image of caring and nurturing throughout Trenton and was known around the city as “A Mother To All,” “The Face of Trenton,” and simply Ms. Grace.

“People won’t always remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel.”

Grace Crossland lived by that wise saying. Every day she aspired to make an impact on each and every person that crossed her path and that’s exactly what she did.

After an astonishing life of genuine and gracious giving, Crossland died on April 10.

To honor its fallen hero, Heal The City put up a memorial billboard celebrating Crossland’s life on Monday May 11th on the corner Stuyvesant and Prospect street.
