Tonight, the Trenton Public School Board held a Special meeting to discuss the reopening plan for the school district.  In a unanimous vote, the proposed plan was approved to be sent to the County for approval.  The plan calls for schools to start off 100% virtual in September with monitoring of the virus to see about moving into Phase II,  and eventually Phase III.

Once the plan is approved by the County, it will be in effect and the final approved plan will be posted on the District website and distributed to parents, etc.

There are 3 phases to the plan:

Phase I – 100% online
Phase II – Hybrid (remote and in person)
Phase III – Full open

It has not been decided if teachers will be teaching remotely or whether they will have to report to their school building.
