“North Ward District 5 Committeewoman and city activist Crystal Feliciano has partnered with the Trenton Chapter of the NAACP, the City of Trenton, and local artists to present Project Making Our Visions Evident (M.O.V.E.), a celebration of community that will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at four different city locations.

The Project aspires to unify residents through artistic expression. “We can each start right where we are in helping to make a difference in the city. I am thankful for everyone who has stepped forward to help make this event successful,” said Feliciano, founder of Project M.O.V.E.

The community-painting opportunity will happen this Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the following locations: Lawrence & Dickinson Streets (artist Leticia Acevedo); Centre & Landing Streets (artist Leon Rainbow); Stuyvesant & Hoffman Streets (artist Bentrice Jusu); and Walnut & Cleveland Avenues (artist Alberto Lugo).  The artists will sketch and tape out the artwork, then invite members of the community to help paint the creative images and messages.

Voter and Census registrations will also be available at each location.
