One dead in multi – car crash on Route 29

HAMILTON ( Mercer ) Trenton Fire department along with Hamilton Township fire department responded to Route 29 northbound at milepost 1 just before the split to route 129 for a motor vehicle crash involving at least 6 vehicles Monday night, one person was heavily trapped inside one of the vehicles and had to be cut out. Capital Health paramedics and Trenton Ems transported one person in critical condition from the scene to Capital Health trauma center, one person was pronounced deceased by Paramedics on scene. New Jersey state Police have lanes closed down to one for the crash investigation.
