One dead following Multi alarm fire in South Ward

Trenton, NJ ( Mercer) Trenton firefighters are battling a 3 alarm blaze in the South Ward of Trenton on Elm Street. The fire broke out just after 1 Am Saturday, one person was removed from the fire and pronounced dead. Fire chief reporting most of the fire has been knocked down just shortly after 3Am and they are now checking for additional hotspots, the fire extended to at least 3 homes. The Fire department placed the fire under control at 3:34 am. The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
