Trenton, NJ (Mercer) A car crashed into a utility pole on Pennington Ave and Mellon Street Tuesday night just before midnight. The driver was not injured in the crash. Neighbors reported hearing a loud explosion type noise, Trenton firefighters responded to the scene due to the vehicle smoking. The road will be closed off until PSEG could fix the hanging pole.
