At 9:02 p.m. on Sunday, June 13, West Windsor Police said they responded to the Mercer County Park West Picnic Area (Pedestrian Trail) on a report of knifepoint robbery for a second time within a month.

According to the police, two victims were walking along the pedestrian trail, around 1/4 mile from the West Picnic area when they were confronted by three suspects. While a Mercer County Park ranger was on Patrol the two ran up to the ranger. The Ranger called into Police and additional rangers to respond to the park to assist in a search for the armed suspect.
