Trenton, NJ (Mercer) UPDATE : A man that was shot on Sunday October 31st on Lamberton Street has died from his injuries on November 1st bringing the death toll in Trenton to it’s 34th homicide victim in Trenton in 2021. The man killed has been identified as Hector Torres, 43, of Trenton.

The shooting occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m. in front of Diamond in the Rough bar in the 500 block of Lamberton Street. Trenton Police responded to a Shot Spotter activation at that location and arrived to find an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he is in critical condition. A second adult male victim was brought into Fuld hospital with gunshot wound to the neck. He is in stable condition.

The incident is being investigated by the Shooting Response Team and the Mercer County Homicide Task Force.
