Planet Princeton also says “Numerous vehicle thefts have taken place in Princeton and surrounding towns in recent months. Often, the vehicles are stolen at night when people are asleep. The thieves target residential areas looking for unlocked vehicles”.

POLICE: On 11/07/2021 at 12:40pm, the Princeton Police Department was dispatched to a residence on the 100 block of Clover Lane for an attempted motor vehicle theft. The victim reported that three unknown suspects entered his vehicle in an attempt to steal the vehicle, which was parked in the driveway. The suspects were driving a 2015 black Jeep Grand Cherokee, which was later determined to be stolen out of Pequannock Township, NJ.

While Police was on scene investigating the attempted theft, the Jeep Grand Cherokee was observed traveling west on Clover Lane, followed by a 2015 Land Rover Range Rover. It was reported at that time that the Range Rover was just stolen from a residence on Dodds Lane.

The investigating officer returned to his vehicle and followed behind the Range Rover on Clover Lane. The Jeep Grand Cherokee drove away in an unknown direction.

The Range Rover suddenly accelerated at a high rate of speed and the officer attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop. A motor vehicle pursuit ensued but was terminated on Snowden Lane due to the reckless driving of the Range Rover. The Range Rover was last observed driving south on Snowden Lane, and made a left turn onto Princeton-Kingston Road. The Range Rover was later found abandoned in Newark, NJ.

At 1:09pm, PPD was dispatched to Princeton-Kingston Road in the area of Carnegie Drive for a motor vehicle crash.  Preliminary on scene investigation revealed that the Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by a 15 year old juvenile was traveling east on Princeton-Kingston Road and crossed over the double yellow line and struck head-on a 2016 Acura RDX driven by Jodi Marcou that was traveling west.  Marcou and the 15 year old driver were both pronounced dead at the scene.  The 14 year old passenger was transported to Capitol Health Regional Medical Center in Princeton, NJ and is in critical condition.

The crash is being investigated by the Princeton Police Department and Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office. PPD is requesting that anybody who witnessed the crash to contact Traffic Safety Bureau supervisor Sergeant Thomas Murray at 609-921-2100 ext. 1879.

    1. Car crash duh 🤦🏾‍♀️, did u see those vehicles? 1 on top of 1, u really gonna ask how did they die? Lol

  1. The article doesn’t say whether the two who died were the thieves or innocent bystanders who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time!

  2. Fucking degenerates. That is what you get when moms fuck random men and get pregnant. Next thing you know; those who actually work and abide the law have their territory infiltrated. Maybe those same folks should go burn down neighborhoods in Trenton where this filth originates.

    1. You sound mad , your wife probably fucked somebody on you or ya daughter you sound but hurt 😂😂😂😂 fuck you go back to where you came from slime . Your not welcomed in Trenton clown . Two people just died … Help these kids instead of judging and talking shit you werido .

      1. Hey asshole Moe Moe. Yup is mas and correct – they should go back to their own tribal areas and stop stealing cars, then causing horrific accidents as this one. There is no forgiving an underage kid stealing a car, then driving it away at very high speeds, losing control and killing an innocent person. Your are a dope extraordinaire Moe Moe.

    2. How do you know they’re from Trenton?? Sorry someone loss their lives but don’t be so judgemental. I could’ve been someone right out of Princeton. No town is exempt!!!

    3. Suck dick them people lost they life weirdo and they was worry about your funky pussy wife and how many dick she got in her why you at work she probably fucking your brother or dad

    4. How do you know all this Are you profiling ??? You know nothing about these young men or their families so keep your IGNORANT comments to yourself!!

    5. Fuck u asshole…not everyone from Trenton is a degenerate. Those asshole probably came from Clay St in Princeton. You act like y’all don’t have projects in Princeton.

  3. Just horrific, those pictured look like young kids, heartfelt sympathies to all including police and EMS who have to work this scene ,,,

  4. Everyone needs to be respectful for the family. As I am one of their extended families of one of the CHILDREN who died. It was not a man. It was a girl. And she was only 15. Don’t believe everything you read and assume.

    1. Is it correct that the 15 year old was the driver of the stolen car, that resulted in the crash and death of a driver of another vehicle (that was not stolen).

  5. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. It’s a shame these hoodlums had to harm innocent bystanders in the process, condolences to the victim’s families.

  6. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. It’s a shame these hoodlums need to drag innocent bystanders into their mess. Condolences to the victim’s family.

  7. To the editor, Thomas Peterson, the way you have profiled these CHILDREN is outrageous. As a black man, I’d expect you to have a bit more consciousness when writing an article about black KIDS. You have reduced them to thugs and hoodlums. As their previous educator, fuck you and your perspective.

  8. If these kids killed an innocent person they should be tried as adults. Fuck this lenient coddling of “kids”. Old enough to kill someone, old enough to rot in a cell.
