Man killed in St. Joe’s Avenue shooting

The male has been identified as David Johnson, 39, of Trenton.

Trenton, NJ (Mercer) At approximately 5:25 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, Trenton police received a Shot Spotter activation for the 300 block of St. Joe’s Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead a short time later according to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s office

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating Wednesday evening shooting homicide.
