Ewing, NJ (Mercer) As students were dismissed at Ewing High school on Wednesday, police presence was heavy due to the increased threat of school violence across New Jersey on social media platforms. Ewing Police says Ewing Police received a call of an unspecified threat of violence toward Ewing High School via text message. Officers responded to the school and determined the threat not to be credible. Classes were dismissed without incident at the normal time under a heavy police presence. Investigation continues into the matter at this time, however, they are not aware of any ongoing threat.
