TRENTON, NJ (Mercer) Friday, hundreds of city residents lined up behind Trenton fire headquarters for the “Last Call toy give away the line extended to Perry street. Trenton fire director Kenneth Douglas stated that he was glad that he had the resources to bring to the city of Trenton being the newly appointed director to take care of the residents here in need, especially during this time of Covid where a lot of families are suffering and dealing with some financial and other issues that, what brings them happiness during this holiday season that people can go home safe and happy and that the city actually cares about them. We are a giving city; we do a lot for the residents, and Douglas is glad to be a part of that process for the city of Trenton. Mayor Reed Gusciora was asked if the huge line was what they prepared for. Gusciora replied with, ” the one thing the fire director were was prepared”. Douglas received 100 donations from various organizations. Mayor Reed Gusciora praised the fire department for giving back to the community.
