UPDATE: 2 Brothers Shot one Killed in Deli Shooting in Ewing


EWING TOWNSHIP, N.J. (PBN) The Mercer County Prosecutor’s office has released the identification of one of the men fatally shot. At approximately 6:10 a.m. on Monday, June 6, Ewing police responded to Priori’s Deli, 301 Hillcrest Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located two adult males suffering from
gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to the hospital where Oscar Palacios,
54, of Trenton, was pronounced deceased. The second victim, a 57-year-old Hamilton
man, remains hospitalized. The two men are brothers and employees of the deli.

Prosecutor’s office says at this stage of the investigation, detectives are investigating all potential motives and attempting to piece together what led up to the shooting of the men, which occurred
inside the deli. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Deli Owner Killed Another Critically Wounded in Early Morning Ewing Shooting


EWING TOWNSHIP, N.J. (PBN)  The Ewing Police department and the Mercer County Homicide task force are investigating a shooting on the 300 block of Hillcrest Ave at the Priori’s Deli. The shooting happened at approximately 6:10 Am. Ewing Police officers located two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. According to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s office, both victims were transported to Capital Health trauma center. One of the fatally wounded was the owner of the Deli. His brother Antonio described him as a good guy, and he had been working at the Deli for 22-25 years with no problems.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is
