TRENTON, N.J. (PBN)  Alice Virginia Barclay, 73, of Ewing Township, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, June 12, 2022. She was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. Though barely 4’11”, Alice joyfully drove a 54-passenger school bus for many years, picking up and taking back home thousands of school children, all of whom she considered her own children. When she was not driving a bus, she worked in the school cafeteria, making and serving lunches to thousands more children. She genuinely enjoyed making the students’ lives brighter.

She was the eldest daughter of the late Carl F. and Virginia M. (Crawford) Barclay. She is survived by her four children, Barb Yaede (Richard Mulrine), Kelly Yaede, Megan Yaede-German, and Ryan Barclay. She also is survived by the true lights of her life – her grandchildren, Brianna Fleming, Dylan German, Dean German, and Ryleigh Barclay. Additionally, she is survived by her sister and brother, Geraldine Barclay, and Thomas E. C. Barclay, as well as several nieces and nephews.
