TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Officials are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident on Route 29 The accident happened between Cass Street and South Warren street the accident happened in the northbound lanes . Police responded just after 10:00 Pm Sunday.
UPDATE: Pedestrian has been identified as an 85-year-old Trenton man. Dowell Houston was hit near the intersection of Route 29 and South Warren Street at about 9:30 p.m., Detective Lt. Bolognini said Tuesday.
The driver called police from Pennsylvania and said he might have hit someone, Bolognini said The driver a 21-year-old woman from Bensalem, Pennsylvania — was issued motor vehicle summonses, but had not been criminally charged as of Tuesday, Detective Lt. Bolognini said.
