TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Three men were seriously injured when gunfire broke out on Thursday afternoon. Trenton Police responded a Shot Spotter activation for multiple rounds to the scene near the 600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at 3:08 p.m., officials said.

Three victims were taken to Capital Health trauma center for treatment. One of the victims, James Junior Journigan, later died of his injuries. The two additional victims are currently in critical condition at Capital Health Regional Medical Center. The investigation is ongoing.
