Police Investigating Stuyvesant Ave Shooting That Left A 29 Year Old Dead

Trenton, N.J. (PBN) Trenton Police are investigating a shooting in that one person was injured. One person was reported to have been transported to the hospital via car. The shooting occurred just after 1:00 Am on Stuyvesant and Hoffman Ave. Saturday. Police reported a Shot Spotter went off in the area of 763 Stuyvesant Avenue – 13 rounds. A crime scene was located in front of 802 Stuyvesant Avenue, and casings on the side of 801 Stuyvesant Avenue. The 29-year-old male Victim was transported by private vehicle to the hospital in critical condition. The shooting response team is investigating.

UPDATE: A gunman wounded Taquan Foxworth, 29, early last Saturday and was taken to a city hospital by private vehicle. Foxworth succumbed to his injures last week.

No arrests or charges have been publicized in the case.
