Wood Street Shooting scene

Trenton, NJ ( PBN) – Two separate shootings in Trenton on Wednesday left two men injured.

The first incident was reported at approximately 12:49 a.m. when Trenton Communications received a notification of shots fired near the intersection of Adeline and Malone. Officers responded promptly and found a male victim on Home Avenue with a gunshot wound to his armpit. He was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in critical condition. However, the latest updates indicate that his condition has stabilized.

Later that day, at around 6:39 p.m., Trenton police officers were dispatched to the scene of a second shooting on Wood Street. Upon arrival, they located a 30-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his left leg. The victim was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he is in stable condition and his injury is not considered life-threatening.

Both incidents are currently being investigated by the Trenton Police Department’s Shooting Response Team.
