TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a shooting homicide in Trenton. Friday, November 24, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Trenton police responded to the first block of Oliver Avenue for a ShotSpotter activation.  Responding Police officers arrived on the scene to discover an adult male on the sidewalk shot multiple times.  The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

BREAKING: Shooting Leaves Multiple People On Oakland Street Injured

TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Multiple people have been transported after a shooting erupted on Oakland Street and Hoffman Ave.; possibly two people were shot, and another person suffered unknown injuries. The shooting happened just after 1:00 P.m. Sunday residents reported hearing at least 3-4 shots rang out, leaving multiple people running for their lives.

Trenton Police say a shooting erupted with at least 4 rounds fired leaving a male shot in the chest and then a large fight broke out having to call in assistance from Ewing Township Police and the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department on Oakland Street and Hoffman Avenue Sunday afternoon.

TRENTON, N.J. (PBN)  Trenton Police and The Mercer County Homicide Task Force are investigating after a man was killed after being stabbed multiple times Thursday night.

Trenton Emergency Medical Services and Capital Health paramedics responded just after 9:00 P.m. to Cross Street and Ewing Street, where they found a male suffering from stab wounds to the chest and neck area. Trenton Emergency Medical Services and Paramedics performed CPR to Capital Health Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Trenton, N.J. (PBN) The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a homicide death in Trenton, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo reported Friday.

At approximately 4:20 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2023, Trenton police were dispatched to the 500 block of Chestnut Avenue on the Swan Street side of an abandoned parking lot where they discovered an unresponsive Hispanic male with several large lacerations to his head and face.  He was found next to an abandoned delivery truck that was parked in the lot and pronounced dead at the scene.

UPDATE: Woman Killed In Hit-And-Run In Trenton

Trenton, N.J. (PBN) September 21, 2023, at Approximately 8:11 P.m., the Trenton police unit located a female down at W State St/Calhoun St that was struck by a vehicle. The victim is a black female who appears 70 years of age. The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional, where she succumbed to her injuries late Thursday night.

The suspect vehicle is described as a black SUV last seen traveling north on Calhoun St. and out of sight. The investigation is ongoing.

Trenton, N.J. (PBN): Trenton Police are investigating after a woman was struck by a vehicle Thursday night just after 8:00 P.m. that did not stay at the scene. Capital Health paramedics rode up on the woman, who reported being unresponsive on Calhoun Street near West State Street. Paramedics intubated the woman and transported her to Capital Health Trauma Center in Critical Condition by Trenton Emergency Medical Services.

Trenton, N.J. (PBN) Trenton Police reported that officers responded to the 600 Block of Chambers Street near Hamilton Ave. (across from St. Francis Medical Center) for a multiple stabbing around 1:30 a.m. Trenton Police found parties intoxicated and fighting on the porch. A total of three victims were found with non-life-threatening lacerations. Trenton Emergency Medical also observed the fight occurring. Trenton Emergency Medical Services and Lawrence Township Emergency Medical Services transported the victims to Capital Health Tarma center.

Trenton, N.J. (PBN) The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department announced they are investigating a shooting homicide in Trenton.

Police say a few minutes after midnight on Saturday, September 2, 2023, Trenton police responded to the 200 block of Brunswick Avenue on a report of a male shot. Responding officers arrived on the scene to discover an unresponsive male in a vacant lot, appearing to suffer from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The victim has been identified as Ronald Taylor, 40, of Trenton.

Trenton, N.J. (PBN)  Police are investigating after a male was struck by gunfire on the 200 block of Brunswick Ave between Old Rose Street. The shooting occurred shortly after midnight Saturday. Trenton Emergency Medical Services reported the male sustained a headshot wound and was rushed to Capital Health Trauma Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Trenton, N.J. (PBN)  Police are investigating after a male was struck by multiple vehicles after he attempted to cross route one Southbound, causing him to get struck by more vehicles in the Northbound lanes. Route one Northbound has been closed at Perry Street since 3:30 p.m. Trenton Emergency Medical Services transported the male to Capital Health Trauma Center with extreme life-threatening injuries.

Update from Police

Trenton Police reported at Approximately 1547 hours, Trenton Police communications received a call regarding a male that possibly jumped off the Rt. 1 bridge @ Perry Street onto the highway. Police, ambulance, and fire department were dispatched. 

Police say the victim appears to be a teenage male who witnesses say jumped off the bridge onto Route 1 and was subsequently struck by at least 2 vehicles upon landing. Transported to Helene Fuld Medical center for treatment.  VERY Critical condition. Now being transported to RWJ New Brunswick Pediatric ICU for further medical treatment.  

Trenton Police reported at Approximately 3: 47 Pm, Trenton Police communications received a call regarding a male that possibly jumped off the Rt. 1 bridge @ Perry Street onto the highway. Police, ambulance, and fire department were dispatched.
