TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Trenton officials are investigating a fire that ripped through 3 homes in the 200 block of Mott Street Sunday shortly after 11:00 Am Sunday. Firefighters recovered numerous animals and police officers located at least two dogs wandering around the scene, one dog bit an officer sustaining very minor injuries. Fire Chief Ross Dale stated when they arrived they were met with heavy fire from the rear of 3 homes and went to a defensive operation. The fire was placed under control shortly after 1Pm. Chief Ross Dale also stated that they did not dump the city on the fire but it came close to a 3-alarm.

Hudson St Shooting Leaves Man Shot In Both Legs
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Trenton Police are investigating in the area of 200 Hudson Street and Bayard Street Friday night shortly after 11:00Pm Police say a Male victim was approached by a male suspect on foot who shot him in both legs. The male Victim was transported to Capital Health Trauma Center by Trenton Ems. The Victim remains in stable condition. No other information was released
Police Investigating Pedestrian Struck On Chambers St
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN Trenton Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a car traveling down Chambers Street and Morris Ave. A driver stopped to aid the pedestrian that suffered head trauma Trenton emergency medical services transported the male to Capital Health trauma center. It is unknown if the driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene at this time.
Police Investigating New York Ave Shooting
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) At approximately 4:11 am on April 16, Trenton Police was alerted by ShotSpotter of mutiple rounds fired in the area of Phillips and New York Avenues. Four occupants were in a white Honda SUV when they were fired upon. One occupant of the Honda was shot in the arm, another was shot in the head. They are both currently at Capital Health , Kathleen Petrucci Chief, Homicide Task Force reported.
Trenton Fire Fighter Injured battling Multi Alarm Fire On Spring St
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Trenton firefighters responded to the 300 block of Spring Street, firefighters reported heavy coming from the rear of the house and fire extending into the house attached just before noontime Saturday. Firefighters are still battling the fire at this time, one firefighter called a mayday and suffered non life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.
The Battalion chief placed the fire under control just after 2:40 Pm.

Ewing Schools Closed After Unconfirmed School Threat
EWING TOWNSHIP , N.J. (PBN) Ewing Township Police Posted to it’s Facebook page “All Ewing public schools are closed today while we investigate an unconfirmed school threat. Additional officers from Ewing and partner agencies will be deployed to all Ewing public and private schools. We will update this page as we get more information. The safety and security of our students is always paramount. This action is being done out of an abundance of caution.”

Burlington Woman Killed In Trenton Identified
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported. At approximately 9:06 a.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2023, Trenton police responded to a ShotSpotter activation and Trenton Communications received calls for a female shot in the area of Prospect Street and W. Hanover Avenue. Patrol officers arrived and located a black female with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced deceased at 9:19 a.m. The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Stephanie Vil, of Burlington, New Jersey.
Onofri reported No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Mercer County Homicide Task Force at (609) 989-6406.
Trenton Firefighters Battled 2 Alarm Fire On Lamberton St Family displaced
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Trenton Fire firefighters battled a 3 story house fire in the 500 block of Lamberton Street. They have upgraded the fire to a second alarm with heavy fire and smoke coming from the attic area. No injuries have been reported at this time we will continue to update this as information comes in.
UPDATE : Saturday Two alarm fire on Lamberton Street displaced a family of five. Kids: twins 5years old and 6 year old. Will need clothing if anyone can donate. Lost a kitten on second floor according to Mayor Reed who was on the scene. Trenton Contained and stopped fire from dangerously spreading. The fire is under investigation.
Clothes can be dropped off at the Health Dept. Ruth Carter or mayors office.
Trenton Student Wanted For Weapon Offenses At Trenton Central High School
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) On Wednesday, February 8, 2023 approximately 1:00 pm, Trenton Police Department was advised of an adult student who was in possession of a firearm, while attending school at 400 Chambers Street, Trenton Central High School. Upon further investigation, the male was identified as Breion Crayton. School Officials immediately instituted a shelter-in-place to isolate and locate Crayton. School Resource Officer, Detective Munn located Crayton and a struggle ensued. Crayton was able to break free during a struggle for his book bag, which contained a handgun and escaped custody. Trenton Police Officers searched the immediate area and a possible address for Crayton and were not able to locate him at this time.
Arrest warrants for weapon offenses were issued for Crayton and the Trenton Police Department is actively attempting to locate and arrest him at this time.
In a instagram story video of Crayton he could be seen pulling a handgun with a drum magazine attached to it with a green laser from his hip flashing the firearm.
