Trenton ( Mercer) A New Jersey Transit bus collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Calhoun Street and Sweets Ave Monday evening in the North Ward of Trenton. Trenton Emergency medical services transported one patient to the hospital with minor injuries.

Man arrested for stabbing homicide in Trenton
The Mercer County Homicide Task Force has made an arrest in the Shamira Williams stabbing homicide. Irvin Hayes, 33, was arrested Tuesday night September 3rd in Trenton. He’s charged with murder and weapons offenses, as well as resisting arrest and obstruction for his arrest. The Mercer County Prosecutors office is filing a motion to detain.
