TRENTON, N.J. (PBN)   In a late-night incident, Trenton Police officers were engaged in a foot pursuit of multiple occupants who had fled a stolen vehicle. The pursuit took a dramatic turn when an officer en route to assist collided with another civilian vehicle, resulting in injuries to both parties involved. Despite the chaos, police officers managed to make significant progress in apprehending suspects related to the stolen vehicle.

At approximately 11:15 p.m., officers responded to reports of a stolen vehicle and initiated a foot pursuit of the suspects. During the pursuit, one of the officers, rushing to assist, collided with another vehicle on Calhoun Street & West Hanover Street. The impact of the collision led to both the officers and the driver of the civilian vehicle sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.

Emergency medical services from Trenton and Ewing Township quickly arrived at the scene and transported both the officers and the driver to the Hospital where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
