Ewing Township Motorcyclist Killed in Weekend Crash

EWING, N.J. (PBN) Ewing Township Police announced on November 25, 2023, at around, 4:54 PM, Police Officer Austin Woolverton came upon a serious motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles, one of which was a motorcycle, in the area of Pawrkway Avenue at Walter Street. The Driver of the motorcycle, Theodore Condo, 57 of Ewing NJ, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office’s serious collision response team is investigating the crash. Anyone with information concerning the crash is asked to contact Police Officer Abdelbasset Jibbou at (609) 882-1313.

TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a shooting homicide in Trenton. Friday, November 24, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Trenton police responded to the first block of Oliver Avenue for a ShotSpotter activation.  Responding Police officers arrived on the scene to discover an adult male on the sidewalk shot multiple times.  The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Stolen Vehicle flee Traffic Stop In Ewing Township

EWING TOWNSHIP, N.J. (PBN) Ewing Police say they made a traffic stop on Olden Ave near Parkside Ave.

Friday evening, just before 6:00 Pm. Police Officials say At some point during the traffic stop, believed to be as the police officer exited his patrol vehicle, the stolen vehicle fled. The vehicle then traveled on Olden Avenue towards Prospect Street when all occupants fled from the moving vehicle—the stolen vehicle made minor contact with another vehicle and then a curb. No injuries were reported, and there was no pursuit of the vehicle. It is unknown how many occupants were in the vehicle. No arrests were made, Deputy Chief Jeffrey Jacobs said in a statement.

TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Trenton Police Detective Lieutenant Brian Jones announced Friday that on Wednesday, October 25th, 2023, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Trenton Police communications received a shot spotter activation for twelve (12) rounds in the area of 30 Commerce Street. Upon officers’ arrival, several residences were struck, and casings were recovered. The Mercer County Shooting Response Team investigated this incident.  It was determined that Van Wells and Brioan Avery-Sanders were responsible for the incident. On Thursday, November 16th, 2023, Wells and Avery Sanders were arrested in Wood Street and charged.

Van Wells (36) faces charges of Criminal Attempt Homicide, Aggravated Assault, and Weapons Offenses.

Brioan Avery-Sanders (28) also faces charges of Complicity/Criminal Attempt Homicide,

Aggravated Assault.

the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force In Trenton

TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Officials say a monthlong investigation into cocaine distribution in Trenton culminated this week with three arrests and the seizure of $106,500 in narcotics and $6,151 in cash, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo Onofri announced.

Andre Stlouis, 38, of Trenton, was arrested on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, as a result of the investigation conducted by the members of the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force, with assistance from the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, the Hamilton Police Division and the Trenton Police Department.  Police say a motor vehicle stop of Stlouis in a black 2022 Honda Passport was conducted by detectives in the parking lot of the Riverside Apartment Complex on Riverside Drive in Trenton.  During the stop, detectives interrupted an apparent narcotics transaction between Stlouis and Nichele Harris.  Both Stlouis and Harris were detained without incident and one gram of crack cocaine was located on the front passenger floor of the vehicle.  Further search of the vehicle revealed an additional five grams of crack cocaine, two pounds of marijuana and $6,151 in cash.

Shortly thereafter, detectives executed a search warrant at Stlouis’ residence on Sanhican Drive in Trenton, with assistance from the Mercer County Tactical Response Team.  A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of 562 grams of powder cocaine, approximately half a pound of methamphetamine, 78 grams of crack cocaine and 23pounds of marijuana.  

Andre Stlouis, 38, was charged with multiple first-degree narcotics offenses and lodged in the Mercer County Correction Center. Harris, 53, of Trenton, was also charged with numerous narcotics offenses and lodged in the MCCC. Ava Stlouis, 67, of Trenton, who was at the Sanhican home at the time of the search warrant execution, was charged with narcotics offenses and released pending future court appearances.

Trenton Man Charged In Fatal Shooting In Lawrence Township

TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo Onofri and Lawrence Township Police Chief Christopher Longo announced Thursday that an investigation conducted by the Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Lawrence Township Police Department has resulted in the arrest of a Trenton man for the shooting death of Anthony Irizarry.

Paul X. McNeil, 37, is charged with one count of first-degree murder, one count of first-degree felony murder, one count of first-degree robbery, and three weapons offenses. He was served his charges this week at the Mercer County Correction Center where he is being detained on an unrelated case Police say.


At approximately 12:30 a.m. on August 11, 2023, Lawrence police responded to a residence on Mendrey Court after receiving a 911 phone call that someone had been shot. Upon arrival, officers located 36-year-old Irizarry in the living room suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. He was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

(PBN) At 11:22 p.m. Friday., Trenton Police Shotspotter activated for 18 rounds fired at 160 Oakland St. police say a male victim was located inside 7 Eisenhower Ave with a gunshot wound to the back. The male was transported to Capital Health Regional. The shooting response team is investigating. The condition of the victim has not yet been provided.

Bridgeton Twp Man Arrested and Charged with Fatal Stabbing in Trenton

TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo Onofri announced Thursday that an investigation conducted by the Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department has resulted in the arrest of a Bridgeton Township man for the stabbing death of Corey Jones.

James B. Draper, 46, is charged with one count of first-degree murder, one count of first-degree felony murder, one count of second-degree burglary, and one count of fourth-degree tampering with evidence. He was detained without incident in Bridgeton on Wednesday. The prosecutor’s office will file a motion to detain Draper pending trial.

Just before 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2023,

Trenton police responded to the area of Cross Street and Kersey Alley in response to a call for an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim on the sidewalk, suffering from numerous stab wounds. The victim, identified as Corey Jones, 40, of Trenton, was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Trenton Police Supervisor Crashes While Responding to Assist officers

TRENTON, N.J. (PBN)  A Trenton Police supervisor was responding to Fairway Drive to back up Police officers, who requested assistance and were actively pursuing a suspect just after 4:00 pm Monday. As the supervisor entered the intersection of Perry and Southard, he collided with another vehicle. All parties involved were transported to the Capital Health Medical Center via Trenton Emergency Medical Services as a precaution. No injuries were reported. 

Man Grazed By Bullet In The Head In Attempted Carjacking

TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Trenton Police say shortly after midnight, Shotspotter activated for 1 round at 1470 Princeton Ave—police Arriving units located 1 Hispanic male victim with a grazed gunshot wound to the head. The victim stated while driving, he was struck from behind by another vehicle. The occupants demanded money from him while brandishing a handgun. One of the suspects opened the victim’s car door and attempted to take the car keys. At this time, one shot was fired. A license plate for the suspect vehicle was broadcasted, and units were able to locate the vehicle and attempt a traffic stop. After a brief foot chase, four suspects were taken into custody, and a gun was located in front of 10 N Broad St. The Shooting Response Team responded. The male victim was transported to Capital Health Regional with a non-life-threatening wound.
