Trenton Firefighters battled Two Alarm Fire On Mott St
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Trenton officials are investigating a fire that ripped through 3 homes in the 200 block of Mott Street Sunday shortly after 11:00 Am Sunday. Firefighters recovered numerous animals and police officers located at least two dogs wandering around the scene, one dog bit an officer sustaining very minor injuries. Fire Chief Ross Dale stated when they arrived they were met with heavy fire from the rear of 3 homes and went to a defensive operation. The fire was placed under control shortly after 1Pm. Chief Ross Dale also stated that they did not dump the city on the fire but it came close to a 3-alarm.
Hudson St Shooting Leaves Man Shot In Both Legs
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Trenton Police are investigating in the area of 200 Hudson Street and Bayard Street Friday night shortly after 11:00Pm Police say a Male victim was approached by a male suspect on foot who shot him in both legs. The male Victim was transported to Capital Health Trauma Center by Trenton Ems. The Victim remains in stable condition. No other information was released
36-Year-Old Trenton Man Killed In Oakland Street Shooting
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Friday evening in Trenton, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced.
Trenton police officers were alerted to gun shots in the area of Oakland and Hoffman street at approximately 8:42 p.m. on Friday, May 26th, 2023. Officers observed the victim’s vehicle drive away from the area of the shooting, lose control and strike several parked cars in the area of 524 Hoffman Avenue. As officers began to render aid to the victim, they observed that he was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as Sherief Treadwell, 36, of Trenton, NJ, was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Massive 5 Alarm Fire Rips Through Vacant High School
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Firefighters from Trenton responded to a blaze at a vacant high school located at Martin Luther King Blvd and Southard Street after residents reported seeing flames around 2 p.m. The fire was so intense that nearby homes, including one on Evans Ave, caught fire, causing minor damage. The fire grew to 5 alarms, requiring assistance from firefighters in Burlington County and throughout Mercer County. Unfortunately, one firefighter was injured and transported to Robert wood Hospital. The fire was finally placed under control around 5:00 PM, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Police Investigating Pedestrian Struck On Chambers St
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN Trenton Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a car traveling down Chambers Street and Morris Ave. A driver stopped to aid the pedestrian that suffered head trauma Trenton emergency medical services transported the male to Capital Health trauma center. It is unknown if the driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene at this time.
Man Killed After Being Stabbed Multiple Times In South Trenton
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Trenton Police responded to the 500 block of Second Street Sunday night just before 11:00Pm. A male was reported to be stabbed multiple times, Trenton emergency medical services and Capital Health paramedics transported the male while doing CPR to Capital Health Trauma Center.
Update: The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred Sunday evening in the city, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo Onofri reported.
At approximately 10:46 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, 2023, Trenton police responded to the 500 block of Second Street on a stabbing in progress. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from a stab wound to the torso. The victim, identified as Roger Martinez-Rodriguez, 27, of Trenton, was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a few hours later.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
Two Injured In Frazier Court Shooting
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Trenton Police are investigating a shooting that left two wounded. Trenton Police reported a Small gathering in the parking lot of Frazier Court Friday just before midnight. The Shooter arrived on foot and fired several shots. One male was shot in the stomach and one juvenile female was grazed in the knee. Both victims are stable at this time. The Shooting response team is investigating.

1 Dead, 1 Seriously Injured After Motorcycle Collides With Parked Car
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) The Trenton Police are investigating a motorcycle accident involving three vehicles on Martin Luther King Blvd between Cavell St on Saturday morning shortly after 10:00 AM. One of the motorcycles crashed into a stationary car, causing the male rider to become trapped between the vehicle and the motorcycle. Trenton Ems had to extract him. The motorcyclist was rushed to the Capital Health Trauma Center by Trenton emergency medical services in extreme critical condition where he later died from his injuries. The second motorcyclist was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries and remains hospitalized.
