SOUTH BROAD STREET REOPENED

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (PBN) Hamilton Police are investigating a possible pipe bomb found inside a vehicle in a parking lot near the Yamaha store on South Broad Street. According to one resident, they stated police hurried to get the residents quickly evacuated from the area. Hamilton Police have South broad street blocked from McDonald’s to the Burger King’s parking lot and Between Hunter Ave & Harcourt Drive. Hamilton police have issued a traffic alert for S broad street stating active investigation and to avoid the area until further notice.

UPDATE: All emergency personnel have now moved to the old AMC movie theater parking lot on Sloan Ave.

Hamilton police and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday afternoon did not respond for comment.
