TRENTON,NJ ( MERCER) : Two cars collided at the intersection of Prospect street and Rutherford Ave Wednesday evening. Trenton Emergency medical services transported one person with minor injuries to Capital Health trauma center.
Trenton, NJ ( Mercer) A car crashed into the Trenton Social early Sunday morning, the crash occurred at the intersection of South Broad street and Hamilton Ave. Trenton Fire and Ems responded, Ems was later released due to no injuries. It was reported that this was the second car to crash into the Social within a two week span.
The Mercer County Homicide Task Force is investigating a shooting that occurred in Trenton Wednesday night that resulted in the death of a Ewing man.
At approximately 10:15 p.m. on July 1, 2020, Trenton police responded to a Shot Spotter activation in the 100 block of North Hermitage Avenue, but were unable to locate a scene. Around the same time, a shooting victim, identified as Covvie Scott, 24, was brought to the hospital in a private vehicle and pronounced dead shortly before midnight.
Police are also investigating a motor vehicle accident at West State and Calhoun streets that occurred around the same time that is believed to be related to the shooting.

TRENTON NJ: A woman was struck and killed by a New Jersey Transit River Line Train Friday afternoon just before 2:00 Pm. in the area of Lalor Street and Route 129. Trenton Ems and Capital Health paramedics pronounced the woman dead on arrival. The New Jersey Transit Police are investigating the fatal accident.
TRENTON NJ: Trenton Emergency medical services and Capital Health Paramedics responded to the area of Bridge Street and Ferry Street after a man was struck on the Amtrak train tracks. The man was struck by the train just after 10:30 Pm Thursday night, Paramedics pronounced the man deceased on scene. The man was struck by a Amtrak Train and has not been identified as the accident is under investigation.
HAMILTON TWP: The Hamilton Police Division and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s office crash team is investigating how a bicyclist was struck by a waste management truck. The accident happened just before 4:30 Pm Thursday afternoon on South Olden Ave and Arena Drive,the cyclist was transported to trauma center in serious condition. The road remained closed for a extended period of time for the investigation.
