TRENTON, N.J. (PBN)  January 30th, 2024 at approximately 1920 hours Trenton Police patrol officers responded to a shot spotter activation in the area of 1 Sanhican Drive. Upon arrival, they were advised that two shooting victims were already on their way to Capital Health Regional Medical Center via private vehicle for treatment. Patrol units responded to the hospital and located two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both males were listed in critical but stable condition. The investigation was turned over to the Mercer County Shooting Response Team. After a comprehensive investigation, Ahzon Hardwick and a juvenile male were charged with Criminal Attempt Homicide and Weapons Offenses in connection with this shooting. Hardwick was placed under arrest by the Mercer County Taskforce on February 22nd, 2024 in the City of Trenton. The juvenile male was placed under arrest on February 28th, 2024. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a Wednesday evening homicide in Trenton, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo Onofri reported. Shortly before 8 p.m. on February 28, 2024, Trenton police responded to a report of a shooting in progress at 428 Ardmore Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male victim on the porch suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at that location a short time later. The victim has been identified as Shawn Moore, 45, of Trenton. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
