TRENTON, N.J. (PBN)  A shooting in Trenton has left a male victim in critical condition and a female victim in stable condition. The incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. in the area of 500 block of N. Clinton Thursday, as reported by Detective Lieutenant Lisette Rios, the Public Information Officer for the Trenton Police Department.

The police responded to a Shotspotter activation that detected multiple gunshots in the vicinity. Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement found the two victims with gunshot wounds. The male victim’s condition is currently described as critical, while the female victim is reported to be stable. The Shooting Response Team is investigating.

Trenton Police Department urges anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation.
