HAMILTON TOWNSHIP (MERCER): Hamilton Police responded to Roebling Park, also known as White City Lake, just after 6:30 Friday afternoon when multiple 911 calls reported over 30 gunshots in the area. Police located two males who appeared to be firing a gun at targets on trees, disregarding multiple signs throughout the park that prohibit discharge of any weapon. White City Lake is not only surrounded by homes, but Route 29 also cuts through a portion of the park. Luckily, these men were taken into custody before the situation injured, or even killed someone. Hamilton Police are investigating the crime scene.
