EWING TOWNSHIP, N.J. (PBN) Ewing Police say they made a traffic stop on Olden Ave near Parkside Ave. Friday evening, just before 6:00 Pm. Police Officials say At some point during the traffic stop, believed to be as the police officer exited his patrol vehicle, the stolen vehicle fled. The vehicle then traveled on Olden Avenue towards Prospect Street when all occupants fled from the moving vehicle—the stolen vehicle made minor contact with another vehicle and then a curb. No injuries were reported, and there was no pursuit of the vehicle. It is unknown how many occupants were in the vehicle. No arrests were made, Deputy Chief Jeffrey Jacobs said in a statement.
