EWING TOWNSHIP, N.J. (PBN) Ewing Township Police are investigating a fatal house fire in the unit block of Boone Ave. Police say multiple Police officers arrived and tried to enter the home but were unsuccessful due to heavy smoke and flames around 7:11 PM. Ewing Township Fire Department responded to the scene and quickly gained control of the fire. Once firefighters did a search they located a deceased resident along with a dog. Ewing Police are investigating the Fire along with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s office. The victim’s name is not being released pending next of kin.
