TRENTON, N.J. (PBN)  “Trenton City Council received notification that a man allegedly killed 3 people in PA and came to Trenton this morning. He carjacked 2 people and is riding around with an automatic shotgun right now!” Councilwoman Edwards stated in a Facebook post. “He supposedly has already hopped out to rob someone in Family Dollar on Southard Street. But that may not be connected. Full disclaimer.   The police are trying to catch him! Please be careful if you HAVE to go out and about in Trenton or the immediate area!” Peterson’s Breaking News has reached out to Trenton Police but has not returned a comment. A State Police Helicopter can be seen hovering over the South Trenton area from Ferry Street to Liberty Street.

NEW INFORMATION

Law Enforcement agencies are looking for 26-year-old Andre Gordon, Police believe Gordon knew all three of the victims who were killed. Gordon is believed to be currently homeless and has ties to the Trenton, New Jersey, area. The vehicle Gordon was last observed driving is a 2016 dark gray Honda CRV, with Pennsylvania registration KFR 1534, and a ‘Namaste’ sticker in white lettering on the right side of the rear bumper. Andre Gordon is approximately 6’1″, with a thin build, and was last observed wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt. He is believed to have an assault rifle which he used to commit these crimes.

UPDATE – 12:00 PM

Avoid the area of Brunswick Ave near Miller Street at this time, reports that the vehicle has been located unoccupied SWAT making entry into the house where it’s been found. Trenton Police along with NJ state police are in a stand-off with the suspect in the area of Phillips Ave, Police have detained one male.

Trenton Police reported is currently investigating a carjacking that may be related to the incident in Falls Township. We’re working in conjunction with the FBI, New Jersey State Police, and Falls Township.

1:00 P.m. Update: Multiple state, Federal, and Police agencies from Pennsylvania and Mercer County continue to work on the barricaded suspect involved in multiple homicides in Falls township PA, police detained a man earlier after walking from the house with his hands up. Police believe the suspect may be on the third floor of the home on Phillips Ave.

2:00 Pm Update: The suspect is believed to be in a house on Phillips Ave in Trenton Det Lt Rios stated. The residents have been successfully evacuated with no injuries. At this time FBI resources are on standby while the ATF, NJSP, Mercer County Rapid Response Team, and Mercer County Homicide Task Force are also on scene with TPD.

5:00 Pm Update The Suspect was arrested on New York Ave in the rear of Capitol Health trauma center without incident by Trenton Police officers. According to Trenton Police director Steve Wilson.
