BREAKING: Woman In Critical Condition After Hit-And-Run In Trenton
Trenton, N.J. (PBN): Trenton Police are investigating after a woman was struck by a vehicle Thursday night just after 8:00 P.m. that did not stay at the scene. Capital Health paramedics rode up on the woman, who reported being unresponsive on Calhoun Street near West State Street. Paramedics intubated the woman and transported her to Capital Health Trauma Center in Critical Condition by Trenton Emergency Medical Services.
Head-on collision sends child, four others to Hospital
Trenton, N.J. (PBN) Trenton Police are investigating a head-on crash that injured five people, including a young child. Police responded to Calhoun Street and Kirkbride Ave just before 4 p.m. Sunday. Trenton Emergency Medical Services and Capital Health paramedics transported the victims to Capital Health Regional Medical Center with two trauma alerts. The young child suffered minor injuries, and the crash’s cause is under investigation.
Police Investigating North Trenton Homicide
Trenton, N.J. (PBN) Police are investigating after a male was struck by gunfire on the 200 block of Brunswick Ave between Old Rose Street. The shooting occurred shortly after midnight Saturday. Trenton Emergency Medical Services reported the male sustained a headshot wound and was rushed to Capital Health Trauma Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Route 1 Closed After Teenager Struck By Multiple Vehicles

Trenton, N.J. (PBN) Police are investigating after a male was struck by multiple vehicles after he attempted to cross route one Southbound, causing him to get struck by more vehicles in the Northbound lanes. Route one Northbound has been closed at Perry Street since 3:30 p.m. Trenton Emergency Medical Services transported the male to Capital Health Trauma Center with extreme life-threatening injuries.

Trenton Police reported at Approximately 1547 hours, Trenton Police communications received a call regarding a male that possibly jumped off the Rt. 1 bridge @ Perry Street onto the highway. Police, ambulance, and fire department were dispatched.
Police say the victim appears to be a teenage male who witnesses say jumped off the bridge onto Route 1 and was subsequently struck by at least 2 vehicles upon landing. Transported to Helene Fuld Medical center for treatment. VERY Critical condition. Now being transported to RWJ New Brunswick Pediatric ICU for further medical treatment.

Two Found Dead Inside Of SUV In Trenton Delta Gas Station
Trenton, N.J. (PBN) Trenton Police are investigating after two people were discovered dead inside an SUV in a Delta gas station parking lot. Trenton Emergency Medical Services and Capital Health paramedics responded to the gas station just before 4:00 Am and pronounced the two dead on arrival.
Police say the cause of death appears to be overdoses at this time.
Hamilton Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Mt Laurel Man with Multiple Pipe Bombs
HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (PBN) On Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at approximately 10:56 AM.., Hamilton Police Officer Broniszewski and Officer McGrowan were in the area of South Broad Street and Oldfield Avenue when they conducted a motor stop on a green Honda. During the stop, the Police Officers located four metal pipes with caps and green wicks consistent with pipe bombs on the passenger side floor inside the vehicle.
The driver was detained, and South Broad Street was shut down between Hartcourt Avenue and Churchill Avenue. The surrounding businesses and residences were also evacuated as a precaution. The New Jersey State Police Bomb unit was contacted, responded to the scene, and took possession of the devices for destruction. The suspect was arrested and identified as Jeremy Giliberti, 51, of Mt Laurel. Search warrants were applied for Giliberti’s residence and additional vehicles, and another device was located inside Giliberti’s residence. The New Jersey State Police Bomb unit took possession of the additional device.
Giliberti was charged with possession of a destructive device. Giliberti is lodged at the Mercer County Correctional Facility pending a detention hearing.
Developing : Fatal Water Rescue At Trenton Boat Dock
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Trenton Emergency Services responded to the Trenton boat dock Saturday evening for a report of a person in the Delaware River on Lamberton Road—Trenton firefighters from the marine unit and a helicopter assisted with the search. Bystanders reported a person pulled from the river with CPR being done. Trenton Police has not responded to comment at this time.
Sources confirmed that a male was pronounced deceased Saturday night after arriving at Capital Health trauma center.
Man Found Shot To Death Inside Car On Vine Street
TRENTON, N.J. (PBN) Trenton Police and the Mercer County Homicide task force are investigating a homicide in the 100 block of Vine Street Thursday morning. Trenton emergency medical services were responding to a motor vehicle accident when they located a male suffering from a gunshot wound to the face. The man was pronounced dead on the scene. Residents reported hearing a single gunshot earlier in the morning, around 1:30 Am but could not tell if it was fireworks or a gunshot; one resident stated they didn’t call the police.
The Mercer County Prosecutor’s office announced they are investigating a homicide that occurred on Thursday June 22, 2023. At approximately 7:00 am Trenton Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Vine Steet on the report of a motor vehicle accident with an unresponsive person located in the vehicle. The deceased victim Guillermo Sanchez was located at the scene and appeared to have a gunshot wound. The investigation is ongoing. Crime continues to rise in the Capital city. This week on Monday, a male was found after being stabbed. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department were investigating a stabbing homicide that occurred on Monday, June 19, 2023. At approximately 10:45 pm, an ambulance was dispatched to1100 Edgewood Avenue on the report of a person stabbed in the chest. The victim Ernest Denard was located at the scene and transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for treatment, Mr. Denard later died of his injuries. That investigation is ongoing.
